JoSAA Counseling 2023: After the completion of JoSAA counseling for IITs, NITs, and IIITs of the country, students are now eagerly waiting for admission in their allotted colleges. They are collecting final admission information from their allotted college website. In such situations, students allotted IITs after JoSAA Counseling should collect complete information about remaining college fees and documents required for admission from the respective IIT’s website.

Reporting for final admission to IITs begins

Education expert Amit Ahuja points out that the reporting dates for admission to IITs are now available on the website of each IIT. Students are advised to review the information provided on the website of the allotted IIT, as each IIT may have different dates for reporting, orientation and commencement of classes. Students can complete their registration process by visiting the admission link provided on the IIT website.


Students have to submit the fee

Additionally, students allotted to NITs and Triple IT will have to submit the partial admission fee between July 29 and 31. The fee is fixed at Rs 36,000 for general, OBC and EWS categories and Rs 16,000 for SC and ST categories. By paying this partial admission fee, students can secure admission in their allotted NIT system colleges through JoSAA counselling. Students who are satisfied with their allotted colleges from NIT system have to complete admission formalities for final admission in NIT Triple IT. They can find this information on the website of allotted NIT,IIIT The seat acceptance fee submitted by the students during counseling will be reconciled with the remaining college fees at the time of their admission.


First Semester Schedule at IIT from 31st July to 28th August

Expert Amit Ahuja explained that the first semester at IITs will start from July 31 to August 14. The first semester of IIT Delhi and Madras will begin on July 31. Next IIT Roorkee and Rupat will start on August 2, Jodhpur on August 2. 3, 4 August Hyderabad, 7 August Bombay, Kharagpur, Bhilai and Jammu, 8 August Varanasi, Dhanbad and Dharwad, 9 August Indore, Tirupati, Kanpur, Guwahati, Patna, Bhubaneswar, IIT Mandi, Palakkad and 14 August Goa and finally, 28 August IIT Gandhinagar, when first semester studies will begin.
